WHAT: The doors open at 12.00 (drinks to purchase). Around 12.30 Mara will have a short, inspirational talk on her upcoming GGR caRSVP TO JOINmpaign, followed by informal happy hour! Come on your own or bring a friend!

Special Guest SPEAKER, GGR 2026 Sailor Mara Løvenskiold
Mara, a former professional athlete, round-the-world sailor and Golden Globe Race entrant will be attending this year’s Women’s Happy Hour as our special guest speaker! She’ll talk briefly about her 3-year circumnavigation with Sailing Ripple Effect, and her preparations for the upcoming Golden Globe Race, which starts in fall 2026. Mara was a recent guest on our On the Wind podcast and has a very inspiring story to tell. She’ll stick around to get to know everyone, and will be at the 59º North booth during the Boat Show week to meet and talk to!
