How to Book & What Happens Next

Prospective crew members must complete an online registration to sail with us.

You can find that by clicking the 'Register Now' button. By doing so, you'll be taken to the 'Sign Up' page - feel free to have a look at the form in depth before you complete it. There is NO fee to complete the form - it will be sent to us, after which we'll approve it and send you an online deposit invoice for 50% of the trip fee, which is non-refundable. You'll also be sent our Welcome Newsletter, which outlines the payment structure and what to expect going forward, once you're signed on to crew with us!

There is no experience required, just an adventurous attitude & positive spirit!

By checking 'agree' below, you agree that you have read and understand the following deposit/cancellation policy. Once your application has been approved (usually immediately, unless we're at sea and unable to respond via email), you'll receive an online invoice for 50% of the total trip fee. This is due immediately in order to officially reserve your crew space, and is non-refundable. If your application is denied (extremely rare), you will notified as soon as possible and you will not be issued a deposit invoice.

If you give written notice of your cancellation 60 days before departure, you will not be billed for the final 50% balance. If, after you've paid the final balance payment and still decide to cancel for whatever reason, and 59 North, Ltd. is able to re-book your berth, you will receive a full refund. You understand that within 60 days of departure, no refund or credit can be made for any reason including illness. You understand that there are no exceptions to this policy. You understand the importance of trip cancellation insurance, which is your own responsibility to obtain. By checking 'agree' below you agree to all of the above.

Additionally, you may combine any of the back-to-back legs for a special price (for example, to sail the entirety of an Atlantic crossing from Tortola to Portugal). Please indicate this on your application and your invoice will reflect the discount.

Rates will include all onboard necessities, including food, use of PFDs, sunscreen, etc. Not included are airfare to and from the boat, airport transfers, meals & drinks ashore, shoreside excursions (unless where indicated), personal sailing gear (boots, foulies) etc.
